Terms of Service

The service

Prezently helps you save gift ideas, track special dates for the people you care about, and receive reminder emails before those dates. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep your Google credentials secure. You must be at least 13 years old to use Prezently.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose or to store unlawful content.
• Attempt to access other users’ accounts or data.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to break the security of the service.
• Resell or commercially exploit the service without our permission.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you add to Prezently. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate and provide the service to you. You are responsible for the content you add and for having the right to add it.

Subscriptions and billing

Prezently offers a free tier and a paid “Pro” subscription. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe, and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account, and your Pro access will continue through the end of the current billing period. Prices may change with notice for future billing periods.

Reminders are provided as a convenience

We make a good-faith effort to deliver reminder emails on time, but we do not guarantee that every reminder will be sent or received. Do not rely on Prezently as your only method of remembering important dates.

Intellectual property

The Prezently name, logo, and the software behind the service are owned by us and may not be copied or used without permission. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our branding.

Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time from your profile. Deleting your account cancels any active subscription immediately; partial billing periods are not refunded. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the service in a way that could harm others or the service itself.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the service is operated. Any disputes will be handled in accordance with that law.
